What your pet eats matters. A nutritional diet can minimize the risk of periodontal diseases, cancer, and increase your pet’s overall wellness.
Your pet deserves to have a happy and healthy life. We work with you and your pet to create a diet that is not only rewarding physically, but enhances your pet’s temperament as well.
What to expect in our nutritional consultation
Prior to nutritional recommendations, we conduct a physical exam to determine what stage your pet is at health wise, what the expectations are for his diet, taking account of his species, breed, size, age, and any pre-existing medical conditions, and whether or not further tests are necessary.
Once we complete our preliminary exams, we engage with you and your family’s current meal plan for your pets. This includes the types of foods your pet eats, her eating and drinking schedule, and how frequently she uses the bathroom. All these tests are necessary to eliminate any abnormalities or inconsistencies.
We then work to educate you, the pet’s owner, on what your pet’s diet should look like and, together, we derive a nutritional diet that will optimize your pet’s health and overall performance.
This process is very inclusive.
We allow you to work with your pet’s primary care veterinarian to facilitate that strong vet-pet relationship. We provide recipe instructions, and dietary requests that will accommodate both you and your pet.
