It is imperative to engage in preventive measures to combat common and contagious diseases. After all, you want to keep those little, and sometimes big, furry companions as healthy as possible so you can keep them around for as long as possible.

Cat (Kitten) Vaccinations

Although kittens are typically vaccinated once every 4 weeks until 16 weeks, veterinarians recommend initial shots at 8 weeks old to avoid over-vaccination.

Feline Panleukopenia

  • Prevents against the potentially fatal viral disease that causes vomiting, diarrhea, severe dehydration, fever, and sudden death

Feline Leukemia Virus (FELV)

  • This virus is the most commonly diagnosed feline cancer. FELV also suppresses the cat’s immune system leaving it susceptible to infection.

Rabies
